the ingame download of wz is crap.
ppl get sometimes incorrect file type error or other errors.
they can chose the color while downloading...
thats bad coz wz try to show the map in background, but he dont have this map.
so we need a file that fix this problem.

This is one of many bugs even the original Warzone2100 has.

Afaik the current way of development goes like this: Clean up source code (split into "the engine" and "the game"), correct bugs, add performance

So we probably have to wait quite long for this bug being fixed.

One work-around could be to prevent players from choosing their color while someone is downloading the map.
